You’re a smart person. Why can’t you figure out a solution to your problems?

It’s as if the more you seek answers, the less you’re even sure you’re asking the right questions.

Whenever you think you’re getting close to knowing how to break free of your rut or break through to greater insight and understanding, you shrink again, telling yourself that “you can’t” or that “it’s hopeless” or that “nothing will ever get better”.

The reason you can’t seem to find a resolution and experience inner peace about this issue is because you’re listening to your WOUNDED SELF.

When you were a very young child, your wounded self was necessary for your survival. It made sure you did what you had to do (cry, whine, act out, throw a tantrum, comply) in order to survive— physically, mentally and emotionally.

Your wounded self is that part of your psyche that holds all the painful memories, false beliefs, and toxic emotions that developed in childhood. It was a necessary part of your development, but now, it is a barrier to being present and experiencing your inner wisdom and higher guidance.

Why? Because your wounded self will NEVER let you relax or be at peace with your life, because your wounded self has an agenda: to get love and avoid pain by almost any means.

To accomplish this agenda, your wounded self tells you that:

  • You are fundamentally alone.
  • You are fundamentally flawed, nor not good enough.
  • You can think and rationalize your way to happiness and inner peace.
  • You have to control others in order to avoid pain and get love.
  • Others are responsible for your happiness and well-being.
  • You are not responsible for your painful feelings.

Therefore, as long as you listen and believe the messages of the wounded self, you remain stuck.

You’re Stuck Because the Wounded Self Doesn’t Want to Relinquish Control

In order to get out of a rut, get unstuck, and begin to make progress toward real and lasting changes in your life, you need to stop listening to the voice of the wounded self and instead open up to hearing the voice of your higher guidance.

Your higher guidance is your innate source of wisdom and intelligence. You can choose to call it God, or Spirit, or your higher power. It is already within you and all around you, but the reason you can’t access this innate source of wisdom is because the wounded self doesn’t want to relinquish control.

It uses FEAR to keep you stuck in whatever situation isn’t serving your higher purpose.

It keeps you stuck in a bad relationship or marriage because you’re afraid of being alone.

It keeps you stuck in a job that’s stressing you out and ruining your health because you’re afraid of losing your livelihood and income.

It keeps you stuck in destructive habits and numbing addictions because you’re afraid of feeling your painful feelings.

It keeps you stuck in people-pleasing, draining relationships with friends and family because you’re afraid you won’t be liked.

Your wounded self is keeping you stuck because you’re living your life from a space of programmed false beliefs that result in paralyzing, debilitating fear.

When you learn HOW to move beyond the wounded self and toward your higher guidance, you can finally get unstuck and start living from a space of love.

How to Stop Listening to the Voice of the Wounded Self, Get Unstuck, And Experience True Joy and Freedom

Learning how to live from a space of LOVE and not fear is one of the most transformative things you can ever do in your life.

When you stop listening to your wounded self and begin to listen to your Higher Guidance, you’ll begin to trust your feelings as opposed to being debilitated by them.

You’ll know what to do to release fear, anxiety, and worry.

You’ll effortlessly manifest the life of your dreams because you’ll have direct access to the intelligence and wisdom of the Universe.

You’ll be able to identify the actions and decisions that are in your highest good, so you can relax knowing that even if you have to make a difficult choice or take an uncomfortable action—it’s ultimately the right thing to do.

And what all of that means is that you’ll finally stop ruminating about your problems and issues, take the actions you’ll know are loving and best for you, and finally get unstuck.
